The Storm Leaves and we do the Cabot Trail

The storm is over, hurray, it was exhausting, it went on and on and on. At one time Ron decided to go outside to check on damage and we could not open the door, it was kinda funny. A few hours later we ventured out again for a needed sanity break and it was quite fun trying to walk in that wind. We faired very good, Ron is getting up on the roof this morning to check but it looks like we came through just fine.
On our drive (following) we saw lots of trees down, a semi overturned and lots of people with no power yet.
But yes we woke up next day to a beautiful sunny day, a little breezy but gorgeous so we set off early to go around the Cabot Trail.

We went counter clockways so we would be on the ocean side and it was a great trip, there are lots of hiking trails that we will have to come back to one day.

On this side of the peninsula the water was pretty clear, the waves were still fun to watch.

The sun is now in the pictures a little harder to get just the right shot.

On the other side of the peninsula the water was still stirred up from the hurricane.

We got to Baddeck just at 5pm so had an hour to go through the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, those knowing Ron this was not quite enough time but it was great to see what we could, amazing couple.
