The North Shore of PEI

When I wrote last we had already arrived in PEI but here we are going over the bridge.

Yesterday was a do nothing day as it rained and rained and rained, so we got the oil changed in the vehicles, made a peach pie, and when Ron and Larry went to the hockey game Sharon and I hit the casino.
This morning however we woke up to a beautiful day, so headed back out. First stop up at the National Park on the North Shore.

My dad says I will photograph every lighthouse but I am sure I have missed a couple.

It is like he is looking in a mirror.

The scenery is just something else.

Of course we could not miss going to see Anne of Green Gables

Look at the size of these hydrangas, they were at the birthplace of Lucy Maude Montgomery.

The scenery at French River.

What Newfoundland would give to have just a little of these farmlands.

Had to take a detour as the bridge was closed at Darnby and I missed 2 lighthouses.
On to Summerside, cute and quaint.

But we spotted this lighthouse across the bay from Summerside so had to go see if we could get close, just did a little driving down red dirt back roads.

Lovely day, looks like another good one tomorrow.
