The one thing we have learned in New Brunswick is that we must be careful not to take off on any secondary roads as we keep coming across bridges to low, bridges that the coach is to overweight and trees that often hang to low over the road ways.
However this morning we are off to Malagash Nova Scotia and the GPS says turn left at Port Elgin and take Hwy 366, you would think not such a big deal, you are wrong.
Ron was shaking his head at me, as we wiggled our way down some back roads and then we got to the sign Bridge Closed use detour, oh oh. But we made it, detour was about 10 km over gravel back roads, a bridge that Grandma kept saying "Ron go faster, go faster" as she thought we would fall through and as Poppa was saying" watch those cross bars on the top". I sat very quiet.
But we have arrived, the roads are horrible....
When I booked a week at Malagash, I was looking for peaceful as we have been on the go since April and thought we need a break. Well we found peaceful, the campground is some farmers leftover field, not level, no frills, like bathrooms or laundry, but it is beautiful(and peaceful).
We went out for a drive to get orientated, (not to far to go) we found the public beach, not much to look at but then on a hot day it would probably look pretty good.
We found a museum at the Malagash Salt mine and will go back to see what it is all about in a day or two.

Just think, with the roads in such terrible condition no sane person would dare bring their unit into Malagash. I predict a week's long rest and solitude. Looks like a very pretty area, hope your having a lovely time!
