A day in the life at Bahia de Kino

Now after the resort in Mesa this park is very different but beautiful in its own way.
Close your eyes and hear solitude and at night the sky is so dark with absolutely no lights that the stars shine so bright.
As you can tell in the picture the terrain is rough but we are not jammed in like many parks as there are a total of nine units in the park and three work here.  The road getting here used to take a couple hours with a rig but now the 10 miles go quickly on the paved highway.

Yesterday was very windy which made it feel quite cool but we gathered as a group and went out to clean up the golf course so we could use it. There are free clubs, balls and tees just have to find the course, it could be a challenge.

Can you see the flag in the 7th hole, yes that is it over by the elephant tree.

Our flower garden is an array of whale bones and turtle shells.

Just another picture of our view.

The veggie man comes to the park every Saturday and what a nice surprise, he has everything, fruit, veggies and even peanuts, all that looked so good and so cheap.
Here is just a little of his selection
After lunch today we decided to go into town to look around and have an early dinner.
Here are Alan, Lucille, Rienk and Lona out on the pier.

Looking east up the beach, we watched an open flat fishing boat about 20 feet come in, he just gunned the engine and flew halfway up the beach, it was so funny.
Looking west back toward New Kino
A shrimp boat was coming in
We figured this was the anti theft devise, they removed the propeller so it was not much good to anyone.
Dinner was at Jorges and it was delicious, I had Shrimp wrapped in bacon and cheese in a cream sauce, oh so yummy, Ron had a fish special with lots of onions, peppers etc.  Some had these big huge lime margaritas but Elaine had a tamarind margarita and it was so tasty and grande.  We had to come home and look up tamarind, everyone should it is interesting for sure.
It was a fun day but when we got home right at sunset everyone was exhausted, so another early night
