Our last day in Newfoundland

Aug 31, uneventful day, we travelled from Easport to Cornerbrook.
Sept 1
This morning we slept in or a at least we left late as we only had 200km to go. We parked just 20 miles this side of Port aux Basque for a break, the fellows went into town to see if we could park in the ferry parking lot for the night as we sail at 815am.
Sharon and I went for a walk down to the ocean, it was not the best trail but we made our way and found some more birds.

Ferry terminal said come on down so we did just that, good thing too as there was live music and we got to watch the big Atlantic Vision load and sail off, leaving us all alone on the dock. They had asked us if we wanted to go as they had room but then we would arrive on the other side at midnight and have to find a campground, so we are staying put.

For those watching Hurricane Earl, we are going to park at a campground in North Sydney for the next 4 nights and wait it out, I will keep you updated.
