Geocaching

Ah, a morning to do nothing but laundry and ironing, what fun, oh well it had to be done.
This afternoon we decided to do some geocaching so picked out a few to try and set out.
The first cache was by an old bridge on the other side of the Grand Codroy River, Ron was just standing above it but Sharon found it under the rock.

The second cache was under the bridge by the old school, down a steep bank, we sent Ron for it and he found it.

The third cache was much harder, it was in the bush and the critters were lively, Larry had the cache right down to the degree but could not find it. Just about to give up, I went down into a little ditch and was looking back at Larry when I spied it in a tree root covered by a rock.
The last cache we could not find, we were right there but there had been a lot of work done by heavy equipment so we wonder if it had been buried in all the mess.

Oh well a good way to waste away the afternoon, now tomorrow morning we will head off for Corner Brook for three nights.

  1. Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun. A great way to get out and explore the area.
