Corner Brook to Rocky Harbour

We woke up this morning to some Newfoundland rain, and rain it did, but we pulled up camp and started our 116 km drive up to Gros Morne. Larry keeps wondering if we are going to get the rest of the province covered, I am not sure but am sure enjoying what we have been seeing so far.

At Deer Lake we stopped for fuel and here was this poor moose standing in the rain, the picture is not blurry, that is how hard the rain was falling.
Larry and Sharon spotted a real cow moose with her baby along the route to Rocky Harbour but we missed it, bummer.


Just as we were 10 miles out of Rocky Harbour the skies started to clear and we actually got some sun, what a pleasant surprise.
We took a little drive to the Visitors Center and watched a movie regarding the park, very interesting. Got some ideas of what we want to see so the next four days will be spend in Gros Morne. We booked our boat ride for Friday, so exciting.

Not much else today except we had a fantastic sunset out the front window of the coach, from now on we are going to have to go down to the water to see it properly.
