Our desert ride to Box Canyon

January 3rd, the sun is out, the sky is blue but the wind is a blowing but nothing could stop us from taking a ride out into the desert, heading for the Box Canyon.
Here we are our first stop, about an hour into our ride, Trent was busy looking at the sign to be sure we were headed in the right directions.  There are roads all over out here.

As we were stopped along came another group heading out somewhere, turned out to be a very busy day out there, many different groups out for rides.

Up on top, look at all the riding space and the roads.

One of our first harder drops but these machines make short work of it all.

Getting closer to the canyon, I did not realize how dirty my camera was getting.
 Heading into the canyon.
 Beautiful scenery
Here we are, all bundled up the wind was chilly but it was a spectacular day.
Heading back out of the canyon
My hill pictures just did not turn out, nothing looks as steep as it actually was, this was Anne and Trent climbing the last and worst hill, hard to see but Anne already has a leg out of the machine as she was afraid they were not going to make it.
Harvey and I(Elaine) had gone up first so I could get pictures of everyone coming up, it really was very steep.
Here is our crew: Harvey, Anne and Trent, Doug and Sharon, Curt, Ron and I.
What a wonderful day but played out we are tonight, thanks for a wonderful day everyone.
