Sault Ste Marie to North Bay Ontario

Well today was full of uglies but we are safe and sound and set up for the night.

It started out right at the border, the young lady wanted registration for the coach, gave it to her and she insisted it was not the right one. After a little bit of looking totally bewildered, I think she gave up on us and let us through, I guess Ontario has a different set of papers than we do in British Columbia.

Then our new Tom Tom insisted we should go right downtown Sault Ste Marie Ontario instead of taking the truck route, after losing site of highway signs we finally gave in and Ron wheeled that big coach back through the city, hopeing there were no low underpasses.

The skies were gray and it rained most of the day, even though you travel beside Lake Huron you see nothing of it, the scenery was just trees along the narrow path of a road.

We filled up with fuel on Lake Nipissing and the fellow must have felt sorry for us, he gave us 4 cents off a litre but that made it still 95 cents a litre or almost 4 dollars a gallon which was considerably more than we have been used to paying, our last fill up in the US was 2.80 a gallon.
Which is not a big deal until you are taking on 80 gallons.

Knowing we did not have to go so far we decided to look for a campground just after Sudbury and finally found one just after North Bay, we just about fit and the power is a wash but heh they were friendly and it is on a small little lake.

We are only four hours from Ottawa so do not have to get up early and have all my directions ready so no more getting confused.
