Fishing

Went up to Revelstoke to pick up Matt and Veronica so they could come visit with us in Keremeos for a couple weeks.  After dinner we decided to go try a quick fish on the river.
Veronica studying the situation.

Matthew caught a fish the only fish first cast out but did not manage to land it, he says he has a hex on this new rod and reel.
Ronnie trying to keep busy so posing for Grannie.... what a clown
It was a beautiful spot, Sean trying his hand at it.
The sun was setting and made a beautiful scene.

A day out for Mom

Decided to get Elaines Mom out of the house for a day and took her for a drive over the back road from Summerland to the old Jones Ranch on the 5 mile over Princeton.
Mom and Ron waiting for their picnic lunch down by the creek.

Our new ride made it comfortable to get there.

Not much of a deep pool as the water was running very fast.
At this time of year the bottom field is a little muddy and Ron was pleased to get to try out his 4 x 4.
The only Jones' we found at home were Janice and Dave (Eleanor and Stan's daughter), was good to have a little visit with them.
